For commercial customers, we recommend this unit for small area cooling and for personnel cooling for a few workers working in the same area. The JS240 is useful in a large factory or warehouse where only a small area needs to be cooled. It is also great when used where a personnel cooling station is set up. It can provide cooled air whilst workers stop and get hydrated before continuing with work in hot conditions. Machinery cooling is another ideal situation for the Jetstream 240. It can create a lower ambient temperature around the area or directly onto cooling radiators to keep those machines operating at their best in hot conditions.
The Jetstream 240 has a 10-bladed fan capable of providing cool air for up to 110m2 in the right setup. With around 6-8 hours worth of water in the tank, it can be operated without hose connection for a working day. It also has hose connection and float for direct ongoing operation. A powerful variable speed fan, low water pump safety and water level indicator are standard features on the Portacool Jetstream 240. Its tough UV stabilized polyethylene rota-moulded housing has been designed for maximum air velocity and durability in the toughest of conditions. High efficiency 150mm deep bed KUUL Evaporative Cooling Media provides the optimum airflow and cooling ratio, providing the optimum KUUL effect. Its simple design allows for easy maintenance access and cleaning. Quick connect electrical components also allow for user servicing in the future. The JS 240 plugs into a standard 10amp GPO and is energy efficient with low power consumption.
